Man Made and Nature
Nature + the MANmade
The contrast between the man made and nature to me is intriguing.
These images seem other worldly to me, as if the world has ended and this was what was left, or as if he was on another planet.
In the first image the grass is taller than the model, and the land around is barren, giving the sense that the area is a vast and impoverished wasteland. It also allows me to look at the world in another perspective, to see shapes and objects that we would not usually interact with in the same way. I have not been anywhere in England where the grass is nearly 4 metres tall.
And that I suppose is the whole point of this project. To gather an understanding of how human could interact with other shapes and what it would look like. Such a simple thing such as my Metal MAN can provide such a tool to help discover these new shapes.

PROGRESS
Little MAN/ Metal MAN
I still haven't decided on a name for this one, any ideas?
Since last time I have decided to develop my model and add some extra pieces.
Currently he is made from wire which I twisted to make a wire frame (hence the name). Next I applied some hot wax to the metal which has shown some interesting results between the hard metal and smooth wax.
